Baptism.....

Cub Scouts (look at those KILLER baby blues!!!)......
Girls Camp! We were the Morning Sun Ward Pink Panthers.

This coming week will bring many changes and probably a few tears. Our ward boundaries are being realigned & I'm not quite sure how I feel about it yet. I trust our leaders to do what is necessary for the church to continue to be strong, I'm just not a big fan of change. Call me stubborn.

I am looking forward to the next month......

My parents will celebrate their birthdays in August. I'm so grateful that they are healthy & happy. I sometimes take it for granted that I can pick up the phone any time of day and talk to them, but I really am grateful for them.

Trevor's first pack meeting is coming up & he's excited to make & race his regatta boat. He will also earn his Bobcat!

I work part time for 2 weeks in August. How blessed I am to have a job that allows me that freedom.

We will sign Trevor up to play baseball with his cousins this fall for a league in Henderson. He is so excited & so are we.

Zoe might be signed up to play softball with her cousin this fall. We'll see.

More weddings.

Pre-school year doctor/dentist appointments.

School shopping.

Friend birthdays.

Family birthdays.

SCHOOL STARTS!!!

Fall will be here before we know it. I'm doing a little happy dance at that thought!

May, 2010

I don't have any pictures from May, but this is what we did:

Piano recital - Zoe had her first piano recital & she did great! She loves her piano teacher & wants nothing more then to please her.

Mother's Day - The week before Mother's Day Brad & I whipped out over 100 cookies that were decorated by the Bishopric for the Mothers in our ward. They were so yummy! I got breakfast in bed (crepes, chocolate milk & Diet Coke) & got all kinds of goodies from Brad and the kids. It gets better every year!

Lenzi's baby shower - Zoe & I headed up to Hurricane, UT for Lenzi's baby shower which was held at my parents house. She got all kids of cute things, and she even had some high school friends come up from LV for the occasion. It was a fun day filled with good food, cute gifts & good times. Lenzi had Ella shortly after the baby shower. She ended up having emergency gall bladder surgery while she was still pregnant. Ella made her (early) appearance two days later. All is well now! Both Mom & baby are happy and healthy!

Mother/Daughter activity - I am Zoe's Activity Days leader so I was able to plan this year's MD activity. We had a progressive dinner at the church & played some get to know you games. We feasted on tacos, soup, salads and brownies with ice cream. Yum!

The rest of the month was filled with various church activities - Young Men's, Activity Days & Camp meetings. (I am assistant girls camp director.)

April, 2010

What did we do in April, 2010? Here's the commentary - pictures are to follow.....this is the last time I let the blog get this far behind!!!

Youth Conference - Brad & I attended Youth Conference up at Mt. Potesi. We had great speakers & yummy dessert before turning in for the night. We slept in the back of our truck It was FREEZING! But we still had a blast.

Anniversary! Brad & I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary. What did we do you ask? We had fight night at our house. We've done that for the last 2 years & I couldn't ask for a better way to celebrate then to hang out with our family & friends (that might as well be family).

Lily (our niece) was blessed - Our family all went up to Provo, UT for Lily's blessing. We had a great time touring around Salt Lake City the day before the blessing. We ate at the Lion House & to0k the kids to the Legacy theatre to see the new Joseph Smith movie. We all cried like babies, and now "Praise to the Man" is Zoe's favorite hymn.

Baseball! - Trevor had another great season as a Yankee. He's still in coach pitch for a couple more seasons, but he still has a blast. He hit a cycle in his first game! He played first base the majority of the time, when he wasn't on first he was lost! It is definitely his position of choice.

School carnival - Brookman Elementary's school carnival was a Pirate themed extravaganza! It was a great event that everyone really enjoyed. Trevor missed it (baseball game) but Zoe helped around at the booths & I helped Michelle in the kitchen. It was a lot of work, but it was really well put together. Great job Brookman PTA! (You know who you are.......)
