Where to begin....

* Zoë's 5th grade dance was a HOOT! No slow songs, so they all just 'bounced' on the dance floor for 2 hours, ate pizza & drank soda. It was a crazy good time!

* High Priest social - this is always a good time. We're always the youngest ones, but we love hanging out with this group of people. We played 3 lies & I had to tell the story about Kerry calling me a 'Mann'. Ask me about it next time you see me.

* No more a Wolf! Trevor had his last Pack Meeting as a Wolf. He's a Bear now & is so excited! He loves, loves, loves Cub Scouts - that makes me happy!

Last but not least....

I received a new calling. I was released as a Primary Teacher & Activity Days Leader and was called as the 1st Counsellor in the Young Women's Presidency. This auxillary has always, always scared me to death, but I had the biggest feeling of peace after being set apart for this calling. I guess only time will tell, but so far I already love every single girl in my class.

Important things we did:

* Volleyball & baseball games! We were at some game at least 3 times per week. Good times!

* Zoë's last Field Day in Elementary School!

* 6th grade preview for Middle School - scary! I'm scared about this for many reasons - scary kids, scary influeces, scary age - I'm not very excited about it.

* Mother/Daughter date! We had such a good time at our luau. We limboed, ate hawaiian haystacks & learned some Hawaiian words. It was my last activity as Zoë's Activity Day leader.

* I went on Zoë's 5th grade field trip with her. We went to the Bellagio's ary museum & spent some time in the atrium. Good times!

Of course Mother's Day was awesome! Any time I get to eat breakfast at home is a treat, so eating it in bed was fabulous!

Brad & I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary this month. It was a quiet celebration - my parents anniversary was exactly the opposite of quiet!

My parents did not want a fancy trip for their 50th. The only thing they wanted was a big party with as many family & friends in attendance as possible. It was so fun! We had family from South Carolina & Arizona. We had my Dad's missionary companion. We had old friends from LV and new friends from UT. We all had a grand time, and I got to see my parents slow dance. That was a first.

Other than this party, the major things we did in April were baseball & volleyball games. We wouldn't have it any other way!
