It's not enough to do one's best. One must do what is necessary. - Sir Winston Churchill

July, 2011

Trev & Zoë @ the train station in Tomorrowland, July 2011.

Zoë, Quinci & Trevor at the entrance of California Adventure, July 2011.

We started out the month by celebrating Trevor's birthday in grand style - by cleaning the church! He actually reminded us that we were supposed to go & do it. What a good boy. I honestly don't remember what we did for his birthday. Mother of the Year I am!

Later on in the month Zoë had a piano recital and did so good. She loves her piano teacher (Minty), so she rarely gives me a hard time about practicing since she loves to please her teacher. She even plays prelude in Primary every once in a while.

Trevor enjoyed his first fishing trip with his Cub Scout pack in mid July. He had a grand time with Brian & his boys.

The last week of July proved to be pretty crazy. Brad spend the week at Del Webb for our Stake Encampment, so I decided to take the kids down to Disneyland. I talked Becky Thomas in to coming along & taking Quinci with us. We had a good time while Brad was getting rained out in UT. Poor guy. We ran into a monster rain/lightning storm on our way home. It was so scary. Then we were stuck behind a fatal accident at the NV/CA state line for over an hour. Brad ended up beating us home.

Besides that we just plugged away at work & church all month. It seems to be the way summers work around here!
